Moves to 9:00AM During Daylight Savings Time
Starting Saturday MARCH 18
This weekend Daylight Savings Time begins at 2:00am on Sunday March 12, 2017 and it runs until 2:00am on Sunday November 5, 2017. When it starts clocks move forward 1 hour or “SPRING” ahead and that hour is lost until the end of Daylight Savings Time in November when the clocks move back 1 hour or “FALL” behind.
MARCH 18, 2017 is the first Saturday Run to start at 9:00AM in 2017.
Our Saturday Run Workout will also move its start time to 9:00AM to coincide with Daylight Savings Time. Starting on March 18, 2017 through to November 5, 2017 the 9:00AM start time will give everyone extra time for Family, Friends or napping. During the Summer months a 9:00AM start will be slightly cooler and help keep everyone out of the sun’s heat when temperatures can reach over 30 degrees with the humidex.
Let There Be Light
The start of Daylight Savings Time also means that any evening workouts during the week are in daylight and no longer shrouded in darkness! Its easier to stay motivated and get out the door for training when the sun is still in the sky.
