LIONS VALLEY PARK CLEAN UP MARCH 2016 – Thank you to Sean, Chad and Kevin for helping clean up Lions Valley Park today! It was a beautiful sunny day and it definitely felt like Spring with temperatures eventually reaching 16 degrees. Cupcake Mile Results

The Cupcake Mile organized by Black Forest Pastry Shop owner John Ziemba was a huge success despite the less than desirable clouds and rain. Held in downtown Oakville the 400m loop encompassed the block around Black Forest Pastry Shop.   The reason for this event was to support and raise money for The Lighthouse Project for Grieving Children.  The Event raised a total of $3200 for  this worthwhile cause.Mike Gill & myself were fresh from the […]

2015 Pre-GHAC, GHAC Results

The Craig Kielburger Spartan’s Present the “Invitational Cross Country Meet” was held Fri Oct 24 on the GHAC course at Hilton Falls Conservation Area.  Pre-GHAC gave athletes the opportunity to race on the course prior to the championships a qualifying event for OFSAA Cross Country.
